Simon b. 1819, son of Jacob and Miranda Taylor and wife Nancy (Henser) Stilson. Taken in the late 1890's. Five daughters and one son are in the photo which appears on the front cover.

The 1865 Minnesota census shows Simon and Nancy and Children Martha, Francis, John F. Mahal, Silas L. and James A. You will find the information on Simon in the Unplaces Stilson section. (NOTE: Link will be added when that page gets on line.)
