Odds and Ends regarding possible connections with the Calvin Riley family and his siblings: The City Cemetery Sexton's records for South Bend Indiana 1828-1875 record the deaths of the following two children in October of 1861. Emma Stillson age 6 months and Catherine Stillson, age 4 months and 15 days. There is no date shown for the death of these two, but the date above them is October 24, 1861. It is unknown whose children they might be, but seems possible that they could be daughters of Riley or one of his brothers. There is also an Anna Stilson noted in the Lake Co. History compiled in 1929 by the Historical Association, Volume 101t lists a man by the name of Stillson who was licensed to keep a ferry in 1837 and 1838. There is also an Anna Stilson b. August 20, 1855 who died December 21, 1928.
