Two sides of Dr. Charles W. Stiehl *

Dedication
These pages are dedicated to a very dear man who was on this
Earth for 76 years and who served the humanity upon it for over 50 years.
His name was Dr. Charles William Stiehl. He was a father, husband,
Physician, Surgeon, expert diagnostician, inventor, avid golfer, gardener, animal
lover, and, last but
not least, a dear friend to many, including me. He was born April 23, 1924
and left this Earth on November 22, 2000. He is missed every day by his
family and friends.
I made a promise to him that I would try to find information on
his grandfather, Dietrich Stiehl, who came to this country from Hess Cassel,
Germany. This site is an attempt to honor him and to keep my promise.
The information contained herein is the result of many enjoyable hours
spent working with him over the past three years on his book, discussing
animal/human behavior, sharing genealogy, and
reminiscing about the good times experienced thus far in our lives.
On These Pages
You will find some of the many accomplishments of and the
genealogy for Dr. Stiehl. I hope you will find these pages interesting and
that you will contact me if you believe you have a family connection to
him. If you knew Dr. Stiehl and would like to make contact by leaving a message below,
it will be appreciated.
Please be patient as I update, correct, and add to these
pages. The root of the research tree is the information Charles gave
me during our many conversations. It is hoped that many new branches
and saplings will be added.
