Richard WENSLEY, son of Richard WENSLEY (1788- ) and Mary (UNKNOWN) (1790- ), was born in 1814 in Highworth, Wiltshire.¹ He was baptised on 8 April 1814 in Highworth.¹ He married Maria MOYES on 25 January 1845 in Saint Martin In The Fields, Westminster, London.¹ He appeared in the census on 30 March 1851 in Westminister, London. aged 36.² The address was: 339 Strand. On 30 March 1851 he was a Victualer in Westminister.² He died in 1859 in Brixton Road, Brixton, London.³ He was buried on 21 January 1859 in Norwood Cemetery, Norwood Road, Lambeth, London.³

On 2 October 1831 Maria was resident in Southwark, London.⁵ The address was: Bear Lane. On 19 April 1835 she was resident in Southwark.⁶ The address was: Bear Lane. On 26 February 1837 she was resident in Southwark.⁷ The address was: Bear Lane. She appeared in the census on 6 June 1841 in Southwark, London. aged 37.⁸ The address was: 13 Wilson Street. She appeared in the census on 30 March 1851 in Westminister aged 45.² The address was: 339 Strand.
