Sompolno Microfilm (1863-1865) This is a translation of the Polish record taken from the register of the Ev. Church of Sompolno, Poland of the birth of Friedrich Steinke. He was the second husband of Rolsalie Heft, whom she married after Samuel Riedel deied. Rosalie was Grandpa August Heft's sister. It happened in the town of Sompolno on the 19th of June, year 1864, at 3:30 in the afternoon. There Martin Steinke, a servant living in the village of Sompolnmo, age 29, presented himself, in the presence of witnesses Michael Zacharix, farmer from the Colony Szazerkowo, age 38, and Zygmunt Hauptmann, choir master from the Augsburg Evangelical Church in the town of Sompolno in which place he lives, age 46, showed that a child of the male sex was born in the village of Sompolno yesterday (June 18th) at 7 P. M. to his wife, Caroline nee Stepkowski, age30. The child was baptized in Holy baptism today and was given the name Friedrich and the godparents at his christening were above witness Zacharix and Emilie Jankowski from Sompolno. This document was read to the witnesses by us and by witness Hauptmann and signed because witness Zacharix declared he did not know how to write. |
