A very quiet wedding was celebrated last Sunday evening at the Luthern Parsonage, when Miss Blanche Steinke became the bride of Henry Possehl in the presence only of the parents of the bride. The double ring ceremony was used and the ceremony was performed by Rev. A. W. Brauer.
The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Steinke of Keystone, and is very popular with all who know her. She is a graduate of the local high school with the class of '26 and has made her home with her parents here for several years. The groom is a prominent young farmer of the Van Horne community and enjoys the respect of a large circle of friends.
Immediately after the ceremony the young couple departed for a ten day wedding trip by auto through Wisconsin and Illinois, and returning will immediately begin begin housekeeping in the magnificent home now being completed on the groom's farm 2 1/2 miles north west of Van Horne.
