TREGONGEEVES - Home of Loveday Hambley, a devoted follower of George Fox and a staunch member of the Society of Friends. She was the aunt of Thomas Lower, a witness to George Fox's Journals. Both were mentioned in the journal, in 1655/56, along with Loveday's sister who lived with them at Tregongeeves. Later, a Friends burying ground was established here.
