Hoffman, Marie H. (nee Probst)
A funeral will be held Tuesday, February 8th, for 88-year-old Marie H. Hoffman of Perryville, who died Saturday, February 5th at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born February 9th, 1911 in Perry County, the daughter of William M. and Caroline (Behrle) Probst who both preceded in death.
She married Leroy J. Hoffman on October 30th, 1933. He preceded in death.
One sister, Leona Rhodes of Perryville, survives her. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers.
She was retired from her job as a seamstress at the International Shoe Company. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella Circle No. 365.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. this Monday, February 7th and from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Tuesday, February 8th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake will be held at 7 this Monday evening. The rosary will be 9 a.m. Tuesday. Both will be at the funeral home.
A funeral for 88-year-old Marie H. Hoffman of Perryville will be held Tuesday, February 8th at 10 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. will officiate.
Memorials are preferred to the St. Vincent de Paul Church or School.
