Wrobel, Ernest L., Sr.
FLAT ROCK---- Services have been set for Ernest L. Wrobel Sr., 66, of Flat Rock, who died
at 2:30 a.m. Thursday in Seaway Hospital, Trenton. He had been ill since last April.
Friends may call until 9 tonight and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturdayt the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home and at 10 in St. Roch Catholic Church. The Rev. Frederick Misiolek will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born Jan. 6, 1929 in Wyandotte, he was the son of Bennett and Alice (Lapinski) Wrobel. He was married in 1946 in Ohio to Annabel Hayes. She died in 1978.
Mr. Wrobel had been employed for 33 years by the Wyandotte Chemical Co., retiring as a welder.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Wooodhaven Lodge 966, Loyal Order of Moose, and Flat Rock Lodge 1731, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
Surviving are two sons, Ernest L. Jr. of Woodhaven and Dennis of Polk, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Kevin (Cindy) Shea of Lincoln Park; two brothers, Robert of West Branch and Raymond of Newport; a sister, Kathleen Gentz of St. Helen; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward, and a sister, Marie Nowiciki.
