Funeral services for Warner Earl Merrill, 67, 140 Erie st. will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 Pm at the Curtis E. Truman Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward Griffith will officate.   Mr. Merrill died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Hartman, 124 Carpenter st. after a lengthy illiness.

Born in Brighton twp, Aug. 31, 1897, Mr Merrill had lived in this area all his life. He was an employee of the Davidson Elevator, Kipton, and had been previously had been engaged in farming, He was affiliated with the Wellington Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Jean (Mrs. Hartman) and Bernita (Mrs. Edwin) Hurst, 132 Erie St; two grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Conklin and Mrs. Wade Knapp, Rochester; a brother, Harvey Merrill, Oberlin, and his mother, Mrs. Louise Puder Merrill, Rochester. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
