Jones, James Milton "Milt", Sr.
EDGERTON, Mo. - James Milton "Milt" Jones Sr., 85, of Edgerton, passed away
Friday, May 16, 2008.
Mr. Jones worked at the GM Assembly Plant, was a custodian for the North Platte School District and farmed most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Jones Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary of the home; children, James M. Jones Jr., and wife, Betty, Lee's Summit, Mo.; Pamela Vansell, and husband, Jerry, Smithville, Mo.; Roger Jones, and wife, Tonya, Smithville; and Dale Jones of the home; daughter-in-law, Darlene Jones, Kansas City, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home,
Edgerton. Burial: Davis Chapel Cemetery, Dearborn, Mo. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May
18, at the funeral home.
