Robert (Bobby) Hales, 47 of New London, died Tuesday, February 22, 1994, in Westlake,
where he was working, of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Hales was born January 3, 1947, in Norwalk, and lived his entire life in New London.
He was an employee of the Ohio Body Manufacturing formerly of New London, the VanDresser Co. formerly of Norwalk, and was a former employee of Deppen Farms in New London. He was a present employee of S.K. Cooke Excavating of New London.
He was a member of the New London Eagles.
Mr. Hales is survived by three sons, Jason Hales, William Hales and Christopher Hales, all of New London: his mother, Helen Smith of Norwalk; two sisters, Debra Reineck of Norwalk and Jody Fairchild of New London; and three brothers, Ronald Hales of Monroeville, Thomas Adkins of New London and Ralph Hales of Battle Creek, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Hales.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith McKenzie, pastor of the New London Alliance Church officiating. Burial will be in the Camden Cemetery in Lorain County.
Memorials, if desired, may be given to the Hales family.
