Hales, Myrtle Estes

The body of Mrs. Myrtle Estes Hales 80, who died Monday at a hospital in
San Diego, Cal., will be brought to St. Joseph
and will be taken to the Stamey mortuary pending service arrangements. The time of arrival
is not know.
Mrs. Hales, a native of St. Joseph, and for 17 years a teacher at Noyes School, moved from
here to California in 1936. Her
husband, W. A. Hales, died in 1958. She belonged to the Baptist Church in San Diego.
Word of the death of Mrs. Hales was received here by two nieces, Miss Bertha Marechal and
Mrs. Roy Hornyak. Two
other nieces and six nephews also survive.
