Martha Hales
WAKEMAN - Martha E. Hales, 90, Ohio 303, rural Wakeman, died Wednesday at her residence after a lenthy illness.
Born in Henrietta Township, she resided in Camden Township most of life.
She was a member of Camden Homemakers Club; and the former Kipton Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Hines, rural Wakeman, with whom she made her home; a sister, Mary Gifford, Phoeniz, Ariz; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris, in 1937; two brothers; and three sisters.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Gerber Funeral Home, 16 Cooper St., Wakeman, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Elmer Morgan, Kipton Community Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.
