Hales, Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Watson)

Mrs. Dorothy E. Hales, 55, of 416 1/2 East Ave., was dead on arrival in Elyria Memorial Hospital yesterday after suffering a heart attack at her home. She was the wife of Charles L. Hales

Mrs. Hales was born in Pekin,O., May 4, 1904 and had been a resident of Elyria 16 years

Besides her husband she leaves five sons, Charles Jr., Russell and Jack, all of Elyria, and Richard and Paul, both of Norwalk; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Shampu, Elyria and Mrs. Ernest Wrobel, Flat Rock, Mich; 19 grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Watson, Amerest, Joseph Watson, Elyria and Robert Watson, Painesville.

Friends may call at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home where services will be Friday at 3:00 pm with Dr. Earl R. Henderson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be Kipton Cemetery.
