Hales, Anna (nee Schafer)
Mrs. Anna M. Hales, 73, of RD 3, a resident of the area all her life, died yesterday in
Allen Memorial Hospital, Oberlin, after eight months illness.
Mrs. Hales was born in Henrietta Township. She and her husband, Ross, who survives, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 26.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Gilbert, RD Wakeman; two grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Schafer of Monroe Mich., and two sisters Mrs. Martha Hales, Wakeman and Mrs. Marie Gifford, Norwalk.
Friends will be received at the Gerber Funeral Home this evening from 7 to
9 and tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The Rev. Kenneth Nelson, pastor of Camden Baptist Church, will officiate at a funeral
service Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.
