MRS. ALBERT DENNY DIES AT GREAT FALLS

After Nursing Children Back to Health She Dies of Pneumonia and Influenza

The following is taken from a recent issue of the Great Falls, Mont., Tribune and is relative to the wife and family of a former Dodge county boy.  The friends here will extend sincerest sympathies upon learning of the sad plight and bereavement.  The item reads:

The first death of a resident of this city from pneumonia following Spanish influenza occurred at the Deaconess hospital last night.  The victim was Mrs. Denny, twenty-eight years old, wife of Albert S. Denny, of No. 2609 Central Avenue.

Mrs. Denny's death came a few hours after her husband had been admitted to the same institution suffering from the same ailment, and he has not been informed of his wife's death.  His condition was not regarded as sufficiently encouraging to withstand the shock.

Mr. and Mrs. Denny came to this city a short time ago from Stanford, where they had been ranching during the summer.  They have three children, one five, one three and a half and one two years old.  The children had been among the early victims of the disease and now are suffering from severe colds.  The mother nursed them thru their sickness, herself contracting the disease, and her weakened constitution was not able to withstand its ravages.  She was removed to the hospital on Friday.
