Coming to America (added 15 February 1998)

• Mary Caroline Murany Vargo recounts her journey to America. Transcribed from a 1977 interview, Coming to America is the story of a young mother and her children facing the unknown.
  

If Loving You Is Wrong... (added 15 February 1998)

• Mary Helen Vargo loved Theodore Eugene Muran with all her heart. However, they were related -- first cousins once removed. These twelve letters were written by Mary Helen to Ted just before they were married. They chronicle a young woman's feelings and fears as she struggles with opposition from family members.
  

Operation Overlord (added 15 February 1998)

• "Saving Private Ryan" brought the horror of June 6, 1944 to life for many moviegoers. This interview with Frank John Vargo, Jr. puts into words exactly what it was like that day as the Allies stormed Omaha Beach. Transcribed from a taped interview in 1977, there is also a bit from Frank's wife, Ann, on how they met as well as reminising by Frank's mother, Mary Caroline Murany Vargo.
