The Staplehurst Society History Group compiled the "Monumental Inscriptions in Church and Churchyard of Staplehurst Kent". The Staplehurst Parish Council Web Site includes information on the Staplehurst Society and some interesting historical information. Copies of the inscriptions are available from the Kent Family History Society on fiche. The fiche order number is 52. The Kent Archaeology Society has on-line many parish monumental inscriptions including Staplehurst. These were noted by Leland Duncan in August 1922.
