Timothy Francis Counihan, Jr.

Timothy Francis Counihan, Jr., 74, of Waukegan passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 20, 2005.
He was born on October 23, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Richmond High School in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to Waukegan in 1948, while serving at Great Lakes Naval Base he met Audrey Tindale at the Fireman's Ball at the Waukegan roller rink. They have been happily married for the last 54 years.
Tim was a former employee of Abbott Labs and the owner and operator of Local Janitorial Inc. He was a lifelong Cubs Fan who always greeted you with a joke and a smile. He had a unique zest for life that allowed him to truly remain a kid at heart. He was a man of many riches and loved dearly by all who knew him. The world became a better place when he was around us. We ask the angels to watch over him and pray to God to keep him in his divine care.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife Audrey and his loving children; Michael Counihan, Susan (John) Louko and Lori (John) Morabito. He was the proud grandfather of Sarah and Claire Louko and Joey, Justin, and Jenna Morabito. He was the cherished brother of Mary Lemke, Pat Kriesel and Jim Counihan, a true friend to his brother and sister-in-laws, and a much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
