Ernest Derreberry
Ernest Derreberry, age 97, died March 22, 2004. He was born March 14, 1907 to Brack and Ara Derreberry in Andrews, NC.
He is survived by three daughters, Margaret (Alvin) Jellings, Joan Savage and Roberta Willman.
He is also survived by two sisters, Jane Bryson, age 104, and Lenna Pastell, age 102.
He leaves 12 grandchildren, Richard (Mary Jane) Derreberry, Patti Jo (Jerry) Schuman, Beverly (David) Whitesell, Gloria (Michael Sr.) Capps, Laura (Edward) Shields, Alan (Gale) Jellings, Kimberly (Jose) Trevino, Randi (Debbie) Savage, Andy (Dyna) Savage, Sandy Miller, Philip Willman, Nancy Willman. He also leaves 21 great grandchildren, Karen (Eric) Jern, Julie Whitesell, Michael Capps Jr., Matthew Jellings, Christopher Jellings, Aimee Jellings, Scott (Marlene) Schuman, Michael (Jen) Schuman, Ashleigh Miller, Shane Miller, Scott Shields, Brian Shields, Jessica Savage, Patrick Savage, Matthew Savage, Joshua Savage, Christopher Trevino, Jessie Trevino, Melissa Derreberry, Sarah Derreberry, and Heather (Dustin) Calica.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 25 at 11 AM at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 305 Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. (847) 336-0127. Visitation from 9 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home.
Burial at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Star Hospice.
