1807, Sept 30. Tucker, George, of Morristown, Morris Co.; will
of. Estate for the education and maintenance of my children, and
whenever any one of them shall arrive of age (if a son 21, and if a
daughter 18), one half of his or her share to be advanced such child.
And whereas my dec'd uncle, Samuel Tucker, Esq., of Trenton, named my 3
eldest sons, via: William, John and George C. Tucker among the number
of his residuary legatees, and I have already received a part of
legacies bequeathed them, should said named children demand money
bequeathed them by my said uncle, the same to be charged against their
share of my estate, my intent being my estate is to be equally divided
between all my children after they have grown up. (other children
unnamed.) Executors: friends, Henry Vail, Silas Condit, Daniel
Phoenix, Jr., and Lewis Condit. Witnesses: George Emmel, Timothy Lewis,
William J. Lewis. Proved Dec. 17, 1807. 1807, Nov. 9 Inventory,

This was done by 24 gentlemen who each bought one share for 25 sterling
for the purpose. Included were Gabriel H. Ford, Jabez, William
Campfield, George Tucker, David and Nathan Ford, Jacob Arnold and
Chilion Ford. Bill of Mortality, deaths in Presbyterian and Baptist
congregations of Morristown, NJ: Lafford, servant of George Tucker,
Esq. Pleurisy, April 4, 1806, age 21.
