deceased, late of Hartford; adminstration granted to Alexander Stanley,
of Lenox, Mass., Feb 27, 1792, inventory presented; amount 44.14.5
Pounds. Amount of silversmith's tools 33.6. Distribution ordered to
Alexander, Amni, Eleanor, James, and Lewis, brothers and sisters of
deceased. It is probable that he died before the family moved to New
York, and was very likely the oldest son. Either Eleanor was another
daughter not mentioned, or was another name for Phemie, probably the
latter.
