June G. Fulkerson
June G. Fulkerson (nee Everitt), 84, of Brooksville, Florida, and
formerly of Waukegan, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August
23, 2005 in Florida.
June was born November 29, 1920 in Waukegan. She retired from ESO
(Electronic Supply Office) of North Chicago, Illinois.
Survivors include two sons, Barry (Kathy) Fulkerson of Elk Grove
Village, Illinois, and Bruce (Sherril) Fulkerson of Zion; one
daughter, Susan (Glenn) Stanley of Zion; sone-in-law, David
(Maxine) Nelson of Brooksville, Florida; eight grandchildren,
Phyllis Atkins, Laura (Doug) Colonna, Joshua Fulkerson, Michael
Fulkerson, Kristine (Bob) Martinez, Lisa (Larry) Evans, Jeff
(Leslie) Stanley and Daniel Stanley; seven great-grandchildren,
Hallie Colonna, Merideth and Ashley Martinez, Tyler and Nicholas
Evans and Jared and Alyssa Stanley. She also leaves behind
"Muffin", her purr-fect companion and very special friends Paul,
Ellen, Andy and Jackie of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Fulkerson on
March 4, 1984; her daughter, Judith K. Nelson on April 13, 1989;
her mother, Lena O. Everitt on April 25, 1989; and her father,
David Dale Kimber Everitt on July 17, 1966.
Florida visitation was held on Sunday, August 28, 2005 from 3:00
until 6:00 p.m. at the Merrit Funeral Home, 2 S. Lemon Avenue,
Brooksville, Florida. additionally, local visitation will be held
on Friday, September 2, 2005 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the
CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with a funeral
service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Les
Martin of Lakeview Church officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Lakeview Church music
fund in memory of June would be appreciated.
