    He named New Britain; he was a Magistrate, he was also in the Revolutionary War. - Sec. #3

  25. JAMES B. MERWIN - 1829-1917
    He was appointed chaplain to the Union Army by President Lincoln. - Sec. #9

    He co-founded P&F Corbin Company with his brothers Philip and Frank.
