At the time of his marriage, Wyble was a salesman for Lever Brothers Soap Company. He was headquartered in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, where he and his wife lived after their marriage. His marriage evidently was something of a surprise to his friends and relatives.

At some point, Wyble evidently resided in Michigan, as that is where he obtained social security number 376-03-9755.

As of 1954, Wyble lived in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana. By 1957, Wyble lived in Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky.
