HUSBAND NOTES:
William lived in Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky all of his life. He started to Sunday School when he was 7, joining the Mt. Washington Baptist Church at the age of 10. He became superintendent of the Sunday School when he was 18, and was made deacon of the church at age 26. He continued to serve as deacon at age 76, having also held most other church positions over the years.

William died at the Kentucky Baptist Hospital. His funeral service was held at McFarland's Funeral Home in Mt. Washington on 2 July 1957, and William was buried in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky. The Salt River Lodge, No. 180, F. & A.M. conducted Masonic services at the gravesite.

WIFE NOTES:
Hattie died at home. Her funeral was held 19 June 1954 at McFarlane's Funeral Home in Mt. Washington, and she was buried in Mt. Washington Cemetery in Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky. [Aunt Mary's Scrapbook of Death & Marriage Clippings 1930-1960, p. 50]
