Rodana and Sherman have been married twenty five years as of June 17, 1997. They both love the Lord Jesus Christ and are doing their best to serve Him where he has placed them. They want to use the internet as a means to spread the gospel of Jesus and to help some poor dying soul make it to heaven.
Rodana passed away on March 27, 2006. If she would have lived to June they would have been married 34 years. Sherman stayed a widow for about 3 years and married Mila McCleary on May 15, 2009. They currently live in Chesapeake, OH and attend the Kellogg Independent Holiness Church in Huntington, WV
Sherman is 52 years old going on 18, not really, just sometimes. Some of his favorite things to do are: going to church, doing stuff on the computer, working on family history, for both, his and Rodana's, sides of the family, and sleeping.
He is an aircraft electrician for the West Virginia Army National Guard working full time with them. He works on UH-1 (Hueys) and OH-58 helicopters. Occasionally he gets to fly in them which he enjoys doing when he can.
Sherman grew up in Huntington, West Virginia where he attended school graduating from Huntington, High School June 1967. He entered the U. S. Navy on July 1st 1968. He met Rodana in 1970 and asked her to marry him in 1972.
Sherman is now 60 years ooolllddd going on 25. He has retired fro the West Virginia Army National Guard where he worked on Army helicopters. The guard got rid of the Hueys and got HH-60L Blackhawks about 5 years before sherman retired.
Rodana is four years younger than Sherman except she is not going on 14. She is a very mature serious conscientious person and keeps Sherman in reality.
She works at home doing a marvelous job of keeping and managing the home. It is not an easy job. She likes to; go to church, sew her own cloths, cook, read religious books, and do stuff on her own computer when she is not on Sherman's.
Rodana was born on the island of Maui in the Hawaiian Islands. She also lived on Oahu as a young girl and later her family moved to California. She graduated from Mount Eden High School in Hayward California June 1972, got married to Sherman and moved east to West Virginia.
Sherman and Rodana met in Alameda California in October 1970 when he was in the U. S. Navy and Rodana was still in High School. Sherman was in the base bowling alley restaurant eating a cheese burger and french fries when the two younger brothers of Rodana's girl friend came over to his table and wanted some of his food. After getting over her initial embarrassment Christina (Rodana's girl friend) came over to apologize for her brothers actions and then Rodana come over. To make a long story short, eventually Sherman and Rodana got together about two years later and were married on June 17, 1972. Things have never been the same, but keep getting better. They thank God for making their lives what they are today. They were not Christians when they first got married. But, they thank the Lord for saving them early in their marriage. If it weren't for God, they may not have lasted twenty five months, let alone twenty five years.
