Notes for WILLIAM HENRY BARNES:
The grave of Mary Julia, William Henry and Jane Emma Barnes is found in the St. George's Cemetery. They are marked on single headstone.

William Henry fished on the Labrador. On these journeys his wife and children would accompany him on the ship. It was a hard life. Daughter Sarah claims to have been born on such a trip- up in Labrador, she was baptised of course in Brigus.
Also there is a discrepency in the date of death and burial of Emma Jane, leading me to wonder if she had died on one of these fishing expeditions.
