If you subscribe to the list in Mail Mode,all messages posted to the list are resent to you separately.

If you subscribe in Digest Mode, you will periodically receive a large e-mail - the "digest" - containing a compilation of several messages. At present you will receive the digest either every twelve hours or when the digest size exceeds 20 kilobyes, whichever occurs first.
