ELK CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL – Elk City, Oklahoma Second Grade.

CARTER PUBLIC SCHOOL – Carter, Oklahoma Third grade.

GREENVIEW PUBLIC SCHOOL – Greenview, Texas

COVEY PUBLIC SCHOOL – Ladonia, Texas For writing used a slate tablet instead of a blackboard.

NAME UNKNOWN PUBLIC SCHOOL – Hopkins County, Texas I was in the 9^th grade. I never attended the 8^th grade.

AIRPORT PUBLIC SCHOOL – Commerce, Texas

GARLAND PUBLIC SCHOOL – Garland, Texas 1942  I entered High School.OOL

FERRIS PUBLIC SHOOL – Ferris, Texas 1942

ELK CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL – Elk City, Oklahoma 1943 and 1944. I was in the Junior Class play, Shakespear’s  As You Like It I attended the Senior class only the first half of the school year. I then attended school in Canute, Oklahoma.

CANUTE PUBLIC SCHOOL – Canute, Oklahoma 25 May 1945 I graduated from High School. I was drafted into the Army (World War II) two weeks after graduation.
