| John Murray son of Hugh Murray and Euphemia Munro emigrated to Canada and settled on the Canadian Prairies near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1905. On one visit home to Scotland, his mother insisted that he needed someone to look after him and eventually talked his younger sister Hughina into coming to Canada. In 1910 Hughina and Robert Colquhoun and their children left port in Liverpool for Canada. They settled on John Murray's farm. Mary Helena Maguire came to the farm as a domestic helper later on to help out Hughina. She and John married February 26, 1929. John died May 25, 1939. Mary Helena remarried to Haakon Berg.
