Much of the following information was taken from files located on the internet and should not be considered valid unless verified through research.  The research is what makes genealogy so much fun.  In the table below you will find the family line that I am most interested in.  To view information on these families, please select the appropriate surnname.  Please be patient, as I am continuing to update these links.

I want to thank all those friends and cousins who,  by posting and sharing information about my ancestors, have made it possible to bring all this information to one location.

My ancestors came to America from Ireland, Scotland and England and settled in Virginia and North Carolina.  As lands opened up in the west, these early pioneers migrated intoTennessee, South Carolina and southeast / south central Georgia. Counties in Georgia included Bulloch, Emanuel, Appling, Irwin, Tattnal,Ware, Pierce, Bacon, and others.  Some of these ancestors continued as far south as Polk County and Osceola County in Florida.  (more to come)
