OAKDEN, Mr H P of Grey St, Devonport, and his three sons have all taken part in recent operations in France. On his paternal side there are 7 generations of Army officers and on his motherís, a long list of Naval officers. Bombardier W. OAKDEN, the eldest son, recently reported wounded, served on Gallipoli before the evacuation.

KAYES, Quarter-master Sergeant J L H, s/o B A Kayes, has received a commission in France. He left for the front last January. His brother, Corporal E C Kayes, is in training at Salisbury Plain, England.
