ALEXANDRA REDOUBT (TUAKAU) OBELISK UNVEILING [AWN 14.12.1916]

An obelisk was unveiled on the site of the Alexandra Redoubt (1863) near Tuakau.

“To the memory of those members of Her Majesty’s Forces who fell in action in this district during the years 1863-1864 and whose names cannot be traced.”
