This list was a list of the subscribers to the Te Puke Mission Hall which was built on the site of the present War Memorial Hall in 1894. It was later moved to become the Methodist Church and was eventually demolished.

A = Anglican, M - Methodist, P = Presbyterian.

45 Methodist subscribers who gave £58/11-, 22 Anglican subscribers who gave £32/19/-, 24 Presbyterian subscribers who gave £26/4/-, 51 sundry subscribers who gave £32/13/1 – a total of £150/7/1. (More of we Scots are probably in the “sundry” as we are basically quite shy people.)
