Coverage for Somerset 1871

We are now building a team of transcribers and checkers to work on this year. 60% of the pieces have been issued for transcription and over 40% of this year have been transcribed. 23% of the year has now been published.

We are actively seeking additional volunteers for this team. Transcriptions are done on a spreadsheet to the FreeCEN format. Any mainstream spreadsheet program can be used.

Checkers will be provided with a special checking program to assist in the checking process.

Help is given to volunteers at all times.

This year is a CD based project - you do not need a fiche reader to participate. If you are able to assist, or would like more information, please contact the County Coordinator.

Transcriptions are done on a spreadsheet to the FreeCEN format. Any mainstream spreadsheet program can be used. Help is given to volunteers at all times.

Checkers will be provided with a special checking program to assist in the checking process.
