Assisting the Project

Transcriptions are done on a spreadsheet to the FreeCEN format. Any mainstream spreadsheet program can be used. Help is given to volunteers at all times. Checkers will be provided with a special checking program to assist in the checking process. The years 1841 to 1871 are CD based - you do not need a fiche reader to participate.

The 1891 images are on microfiche so you will need access to a microfiche reader to participate. .
