Mrs. McKeehan Is Feted At Dinner On Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day 1946

Mrs. Bessie McKeehan of North Athens was pleasantly surprised Thanksgiving Day when relatives and friends gathered at her home for an old-fashioned Thanksgiving dinner.

Among those present were two daughters, Mrs. Henry Blakemore and Mr. Blakemore of Rossville, Ga., and Mrs. Robert Wyatt and Mr. Wyatt of Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Nipper and daughter, Jaquetta, Mrs. Sallie Patterson, Mrs. Ada Watkins and children, Earl, Genora Lee, Carrie Jessie and Lee Anderson, Jr.

Several friends called at the McKeehan home during the day. The honoree was the recipient of a number of gifts.
