He married twice. He married Samantha Ann West in Greene Co. Mississippi. Samantha was born in Greene Co. Mississippi April 29 1849. She was the daughter of Vincent West and Elizabeth Kittrell. Samantha died February 22 1901 in Greene Co. Mississippi, at 51 years of age. He married Nancy Beasley in Greene Co. Mississippi. Nancy was born in Greene Co. Mississippi.
