Robert Titus was list on the passenger list of the "Hopewell" of London, William Bundock, Master. She sailed 3 April 1635 from London and arrived in Boston in June. "Robert Titus, husbandman of St Katherine's age 35, wife Hannah age 31, and sons John age 9 and Edmund age 5." [Public Records Office MSS, and Drake: Founders, 15, 17, 19.]

Robert Titus sailed from London on the Hopewell in 1635. He settled at Muddy River (Brookline) and later at Weymouth, Massachusetts. At Weymouth, he was three times a commissioner for the General Court. He got into trouble with the authorities for harboring a Quaker and moved to Long Island in 1654.
