Unfortunately, Samuel's personal property was evaluated at $6.85. It was sold for $6.60 cents, "except for one old plow worth about $.25 which didn't sell."

The 1880 census says he was "unable to attend his business for two years" He died 1891. Apparently, his estate went into supporting him and Sarah for those 13 years.
