Introduction
| Nicholas Schmehl arrived in Philadelphia aboard
the Loyal Judith in 1739. He settled in Berks County, PA
where his son Nicholas was born. Nicholas Jr. married,
had 4 children, and after the death of his wife, he
settled in Clearfield County PA. He married again, having
8 more children. This family tree includes his family and several other families that settled in the Clearfield County and married into the Smeal family. |
