to The SMEALKIN Pages
As I was editing and re-editing these pages to make everything work together, I kept searching for just the right background. I think I downloaded at least twenty backgrounds, and several other graphics trying to find the right combination. Finally I found it. Thanks to ANGEL. What better theme for a Family History than a quilt.
When you look at a quilt, you see individual pieces of fabric assembled together, then attached by one common thread to make it all work. A family is like that. Lots and Lots of individuals, all tied together by one common thread. In this family, it would be Nicholas Schmehl (Smeal).
