Mildred "Millie" Long, 86, of Easton, formerly of Forks Township, died Wednesday, July 4, in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Henry Long Sr., who died in 1996, and the late Louis Papp.
She retired from the former L&D, Easton, and had worked as a waitress at Forks Valley Inn.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Elroy and Laura (Miller) Hockman.
She was a member of Arndt's Lutheran Church, Forks Township, and its women's group. She was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Easton.

Taken from the Easton Express a few days before November 18, 1972. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Hockman of Easton R.D. 4 will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday. They were married in Riegelsville on Nov. 18, 1922, by Rev. Rudeselle. Hockman retired from Lehigh Foundry in 1955. They are the parents of 12 children, Elvin Jr. of Bethlehem, Dorothey, wife of FrankCsordas, of Wind Gap; Betty, wife of Walter King, Joyce Anderson, Pauline, wife of Donald Kester, Carrie, wife of Robert Smith, and Simon, all of Easton; Donald, George and Ronald, all of Williams Township; Palmer of West Easton; and Edward of Phillipsburg. Easton Express; Apr. 15, 1970 EDGAR HOCKMAN, Employee of Easton News Edgar Hockman, 68, of 1701 Northmapton St., Wilson, was stricken fatally this morning while driving along Shawnee Drive. Mr. Hockman’s son, Elmer, who was a passenger, was not injured when the car hit a house at 377 Shawnee Drive. There was no damage to the house. Mr. Hockman was delivering morning papers when he was stricken. Alfonso D. Morello, Northampton County Deputy Coroner said death was caused by an apparent heart attack. Born in Coffeetown, Pa, April 15, 1902, he was a son of the lat Simon and Margaret Dugan Hockman. He lived in Easton most of his life. He was employed by the Easton News Co. since 1946. Before that he was employed by J.T. Baker Chemical Co. 18 years. He was a member of Arndt’s Lutheran Church, Washington Camp 542, POS of A; Knights of Malta and Loyal Order of Moose, Easton. Clyde C. Hockman, 75, of Saylorsburg R.1, formerly of Lopatcong Township, N.J., died Thursday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Marion A. (Sloyer) Hockman.
He was the former owner of Hockman's Meat Market, Phillipsburg, for 13 years. Before that, he was employed by R&R Provisions Co., Easton, retiring in 1976.
Born in Coffeetown, he was a son of the late Simeon and Margaret (Dugan) Hockman.
He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wind Gap.
Hockman was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
Survivors: Wife; son, Thomas C. Sr. of Saylorsburg; sisters, Esther Roseberry of Easton, Marion Bloss of Bethlehem Township, and Alma Bercaw of Lopatcong Township, and a granddaughter.

Marian L. Hockman Monday, February 17, 2003 Marian L. Hockman, 83, of Easton, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township. Born: November 18, 1919, in Forks Township, a daughter of the late Prince and Lillian Williams Whitehead. Personal: Her husband, Kenneth E., died in 1990. She was employed by Binney and Smith in Forks Township for many years before retiring in the 1980s. Prior to that, she was employed by Tunsel Company in Washington for more than 20 years. She graduated from Easton High School, class of 1938. Memberships: She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Forks Township. She was a volunteer for many years at Easton Hospital, and a member of many bowling leagues. Survivors: two sons, John E. and his wife, Dorothy, of Wilson Borough, and Stephen A. and his wife, Mary Lou, of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Evelyn Happel and Margaret DeHart, both of Forks Township; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Clarence, Francis and Alfred, and a sister, Leona Metzgar, all died earlier. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. She and her late husband were co-owners of the Bar-Don Bar and Grill in Palmer Township before retiring. Born Dec. 16, 1918, in Coffeetown, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Simeon and Margaret Dugan Hockman. She lived in the Lopatcong area for more than 60 years. She was a member of the Phillipsburg Leisure Club and was a former president and member of the Clymer Village Tenants Association. Her husband, Vincent, died in 1976. Surviving are two sons, Matthew and William, both of Lopatcong Township; a daughter, Joy Tilstra of Milford, NJ; two sisters, Esther Roseberry of Lopatcong Township and Marion Bloss of Bethlehem; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild. Seven brothers and a sister died earlier. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The Doyle Funeral Home, 535 S.
