Mrs. Schantz was a sewing machine operator for Phoenix Clothes, Allentown, 1968-85.
Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of Warren Vogel of Allentown and the late Vera (Hilbert) Vogel.
Surviving with her husband and father are four sons, Terry Vogel of Orefield, and Donald Schantz, Robert S. Schantz and Dennis Schantz, all of Bethlehem; five daughters, Eleanor J., wife of Rudolph Prickler, Joann V., wife of David Hubany, Barbara D., wife of Stewart Yeakel, Mrs. Mary E. Prickler and Dorothy J., all of Bethlehem; a brother Richard of Breinigsville; two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Diehl and Justine, wife of Edwin Litzenberger, both of Emmaus; 21 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
