Carretta A. Hoffert, 91, of Pennsburg, formerly of Quakertown, died Tuesday, March 20, in her home. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Hoffert and the late Horace R. Sloyer.
Born in Springfield Township, Bucks County, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Mabel (Weaver) Riegel.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Quakertown.
Survivors: Daughter, Charlene M. Hendricks of Pennsburg; sisters; a grandson, a great-grandson.
Services: Were held. Arrangements, C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Quakertown.

Kreidler, 76, of Luther Crest, Allentown, formerly of 1971 Linden Lane, Whitehall Township, died Monday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Verna C. (Mackes) Kreidler. He was chief engineer for Bethlehem Fabricators for seven years before retiring in 1976. Before that, he worked for Lehigh Structural Steel, Allentown, for 25 years, and for the former Belmont Iron Works, Philadelphia. Born in Freemansburg, he was a son of the late William and Alma (Stem) Kreidler. He was a past president of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers. A member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Fullerton, he was a former deacon of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, Allentown. Surviving with his widow are a son, Glen L. of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, the Rev. Earl of Slatington; two grandsons and two step- grandchildren Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the R.P. Haas Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Fullerton. A calling hour will precede the services. ******Carl married Verna C. MACKES.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Ella (Sloyek) Granda.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Easton.
Survivors: Husband, and nieces and nephews.
