Kori Ann Coons, 30, of Gordon, Nebraska, died May 25, 2004, at her home.
She was born January 28, 1974 in Athens, Georgia, to Wynn and Wenda (Sloyer) Coon.
Kori graduated from Chadron State college with a degree in Marketing.
Kori loved animals, music, movies, cards and a good game of Trivia Pursuit. Everyone loved her for her overwhelming ability to share and make you feel special. Her hugs and gentle heart will be greatly missed.
Her survivors include her parents Wynn and Wenda Coon, one sister Calli Lyons and husband Aaron of Lincoln, her special niece and nephew Hanna and Wayde Lyons, and her grandparents Ila and Wayne Coon of Gordon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 27, 2004, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services are held on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ciemanec-Chamberlain-Pier Chapel in Gordon, Nebraska, with Pastor Michael Wittrock officiating. Burial will be at the Gordon Cemetery.
Pallbears are Roger Diercks, Tom Hupp, Eric Hupp, Ryan Hupp, Roy Peterson, and James Young.
The family suggest memorials to the Capital Humane Society, and donations may be sent to the Ciemanec-Chamberlain-pier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 366 Gordon, Ne 69343.

Services will be today (July 23) at Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home in Gordon Neb., with burial at Rushvill (Neb) Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday July 25, at Zion Lutheran Chruch in Rapid City. A memorial has been established to the Zion Lutheran Education Fund.
