When off and possible, I ride my Black Yamaha motorcycle around Southeast New Mexico and Southwest Texas, photographing cemeteries, old buildings, Windmills, and anything that strikes my interest or may be helpful to genealogist..
My cemetery photographing project that I am most proud of, started with "1 picture for 1 Person" from the Monument NM cemetery, near where I live.
I have been a past time photographer, all my life,
purchasing my first Brownie camera before the age of 8; even before I knew it needed film. *laughs*
With the death of my old 35mm film camera, I have made the leap into mainstream digital photography and love it. Reusable Film!

***2. ROBERT L.2 LONG (EDWARD1) was born May 11, 1854 in Truce Texas Jack co., and died November 30, 1909 in Truce Texas "Truce Cemetary" Jack co.. He married FRANCIS A SPRADLING 1876 in Texas, daughter of JAMES SPRADLING and CYNTHIA VARNUM. She was born December 26, 1855 in Texas, and died March 12, 1931 in Truce Texas "Lone Valley Cemetary" Jack County.

Robert L. Long, better known as " Bob", was born in May 1855 in Texas. His father is said to have come to Texas from Kentucky in the early 1800's.
Robert married Francis A Spradling, born Nov 26, 1855 in Texas. Her parents were born and raised in Alabama. Francis had previously been married and had a son, Will Dowdy, born Oct 1, 1871.
"Bob" and Francis made their home about two miles east of the Truce Cemetary (1984) in Jack County. He was a farmer and raised race horses, Bob, even had his own race track and is said to have sold horses to the "Dalton Gang". Bob had a young orphan boy named Joe Ward as his trainer and jockey.
To Bob and Francis were born eleven children and among them were twins. They were:
Allas Lee born April 9, 1878 and died Nov 27, 1891. She is buried at the Long Valley Cemetary in Jack Co.
***Claude Luther Long born Jan 9, 1880, He married Lou Francis Hayes, daughter of James and Sarah (Hale) Hayes.
Albert C. born September 25, 1881 and died Mar 19, 1893. He is buried at the Long Valley Cemetary in Jack Co.
Lula J. born Feb 9, 1884. She married Jim Brown, son of Bale and Elizabeth Brown. To them were born four sons;

Jennie Bell died Nov 12, 1980 in Waurika, Okla. They are both buried at the Newport Cemetary along with Luther who died July 17, 1979.

Dora later married James D. Vest. Dora died July 12, 1975. She and James are buried at the Truce Cemetary along with Nettie who died April 15, 1929.
James Robert, better known as "Jim", was born Feb 9, 1891 at Truce in Jack Co. He married Fredonia Ann Hayes born Feb 7, 1890 at Newport in Clay Co. To them were born seven children:

James Robert died May 17, 1972; Fredonia died April 23, 1976. They are both buried at the Truce Cemetary in Jack Co.

Mattie Donnie was born July 21, 1894, and died Aug 22, 1985. She is buried at the Truce Cemetary in Jack Co.
Ellar born Dec 27, 1896. TWINS. Ellar died April 23, 1897. They are also buried at the Long Valley Cemetary.

Robert L. Long, died Nov 30, 1909 from Tuberculosis at his home in Truce. Francis died Mar 12, 1931. They are both buried at the Truce Cemetary in Jack Co.
Robert L (Bob) Long is listed on the '1880 Jack Co., Texas Federal Census, Reel T-9 Roll 1313" as "Lang", all information is correct with the exception of the MISSPELLED NAME.
