Parmeter Cemetery (also known as San Jule Cemetery) is an abandoned cemetery for the most part that is maintained by the Town of Potsdam. (There was a burial in 2001). The cemetery is located on what is commonly referred to as the Back Hannawa Road, County Road 59, and labeled West Hannawa Road on the latest county map. From the intersection of Maple Street in the Village of Potsdam, to the cemetery, it is 2.65 miles, or from the Bayside Cemetery (located on the Back Hannawa Road) it is 1.9 miles. The cemetery is located adjacent to the road, and on top of a hill on the left hand side of the road, as you are coming from Potsdam, heading towards Hannawa Falls.

The cemetery is shown on the Potsdam topo map, and also is listed in GNIS. The measured coordinates are 44 37 55 North and 074 58 44 West.

There are at least 100 burials at this cemetery, and the cemetery covers quite a large area, with the stones being quite spread apart from each other in some areas. There are approximately 100 burials and thirty of these, the stones were deteriorated enough , so that I could not read them.
